Eni-Blue Stream Project |

Eni Oil Company undertook the procedure of laying natural gas pipelines in the Black Sea under the scope of the Blue Stream Project for taking the natural gas from Russia to Turkey. Eni is among the leading companies in the field of natural gas, electricity production and petrochemical industry, and in oil and natural gas engineering. Eni wanted to effectively communicate the society about what would be done in this project in order to eliminate the prejudices and claims of the public opinion regarding the Blue Stream. As a result a strategic communication plan having a couple of stages was prepared and implemented for Eni.
The national and local press members were taken to Eni's Head Office in Palermo – Italy in order to provide them direct information about Eni's superior technology.
The giant construction platforms Castoro 8 and Saipem 7000 to be placed in the Black Sea passed through the Bosporus and Dardanelles.
The project was explained to the Government and bureaucracy and lobbyism activities were carried out.
The Golden Welding Ceremony was held in order to join the pipeline in Samsun with the pipeline coming from the Black Sea.
