Arçelik Unity of Feelings in Education |

Project aimed to increase the educational and developmental standards of the students from boarding primary schools who were members of the poor Turkish families and to integrate them with the society as successful individuals. Under the scope of this project, it was aimed to reach all of the 290 boarding primary schools which were affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. Arçelik asked for support from the Ministry of Education in the beginning of this project and then established cooperation with the NGOs, volunteers and local administrations. This project formed a good model; became widespread and permanent. The main objective of "Unity of Feelings in Education" project was to contribute in creating an exemplary world of education in order to increase the development level of Turkey, and to become an intellectual leader. |
